These cards are great. I got these cards after I got my Black Tigers. My Tigers are good, but the Vipers take the cake. I don't do a lot of XCM, but the Vipers are good for what I know(Fans, fancy ways to split the deck, and such). I do mostly magic tricks with these cards. The Tigers are good for magic, but not great for XCM. The Vipers are great for magic and XCM. I put my hands on top and bottom of these cards and moved my top hand in circles. The Vipers slid away from each other like a dream. The Tigers were okay, but not as good as the Vipers. I haven't had these cards for very long, so I can't tell you any long-term quality tests. I'm going to get more of these decks when I need them. So, if you need some high quality cards for XCM and magic, then get the Vipers. If you are only going to do magic, the Tigers are good if you have a low price range. Get the Vipers if you are deciding between the Black Tigers and the Vipers. I have the Circle Back Vipers and they are great. If you get the Fan Backs, post a review talking about them because I heard that the Fan Backs are better than the Cicle Backs.

These are by far the best cards i have played with, and i have played with a lot of cards. i love all types of magic but most simpler tricks involve the use of double lifting, and with these cards you cant even see it a glimpse of it. Buy 'em, use 'em, love 'em!
Tally Ho Viper - Beauty December 2, 2006
*THIS IS NOT A TRICK DECK, IT IS A REAL DECK OF CARDS THAT ARE BLACK.
I just want to start off with saying that the Tally Ho Vipers are possibly the best Ellusionist deck I have purchased.
The cards are a work of art, imagine a Black Tiger Deck, on steroids. They're amazing, the silver on the pips and numbers make the cards so much better. They shine, they shimmer, and they gleam. With the hint of red on every odd card, makes them all the more amazing. I fell in love with these cards out of the box. The circle back makes pirouette spins look like a dream, the circle looks like a spinning wheel which is, for me, eye candy. I can sit all day pirouetting one card and not get bored.
The first thing that I do with every deck of cards that I first take out of the box is fan them, and BOY did these cards fan well! The thickness of the cards and the smoothness of the finish allowed the cards to fan PERFECTLY, no flaws, it was absolutely perfect. They feel like butter, and that's a good thing. I love the slippery and drifting feel of the cards when I hold them in my hand. You can feel the air blowing across the cards and that makes me want to hold them all day.
The cards last LONG, and when I say long, I mean it. I have had one Viper deck for one year and a half and I am still using it today, it's not the same as it was out of the box, but it still fans and handles like a dream, this is no lie.
Magicians often complain about how cards like this LOOK like trick decks, but with a few fans and flourishes, you can easily change your spectators opinions. I am very self concious and aware about my cards so I don't hand them out for examination, a few flourishes will take your spectator's doubt away completely.
My first performance with the Vipers was amazing, it brought the reactions of my tricks to a new height. I like to make my presentation "darker" and more gloomy with these cards, the black of the cards make for a fantastic mentalism card routine.
All in all, I LOVE these cards, I can't get enough of them, and frankly, the price tag of these cards is too LOW, I would pay double... maybe even triple for ONE pack of these cards. Luckily, I don't have to. I highly recommend this deck of cards for ANYONE looking for a change!
A Card Manipulator's Dream November 29, 2006
I have only been into XCM (Extreme Card Manipulation) for about three months, and I've learned over this time that Tally-Ho playing cards are the way to go when performing flourishes. Not only do they hold together better than most other brands of cards, their feel and stock are very nice. I finally felt I was ready to move on and purchase the Tally-Ho Vipers, and I have never laid eyes on a more beautiful deck of cards in my life.
// THE LOOK
I'm going to make this short and sweet. The Tally-Ho Vipers look incredible. If you perform any type of flourishes or are into XCM, this deck will raise your performance to an entirely new level. Imagine performing with these pieces of gold.
// THE FEEL AND HOLD
Fanning a deck of Tally-Ho Vipers is like sliding a piping hot knife through a soft stick of butter. The process is smooth and executes so nicely. While the cards are smooth and easy to fan, they hold together very well. These cards are ideal for XCM.
// THE REST
The stock of these cards is among the best I've felt. The cards are crafted so well, I'm sure a deck of Vipers will last you months. If you've been looking for the perfect deck of cards to buy for performing flourishes, XCM, or are simply looking for a new deck to perform magic with, give the Tally-Ho Vipers a shot. Take it from an owner's perspective -- these cards are what card control is all about.
I was skeptical prior to purchasing this deck, but when I went ahead and purchased it and felt the deck in my hands, I was simply awe struck.
Best deck I've ever used June 10, 2006
Tally-Ho Viper playing cards glide on each other flawlessly, if you ever wanted to know what a deck should feel like these are the ones you want to try. They are a bit pricy, so I'd use Bicycle Rider Backs for practice just because you can get them anywhere. The Viper Decks are very unique, very professional. I prefer the Circle backs that have Red Diamonds and Hearts, the Fan back look great as well they are all silver.
